Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and evolve software engineering solutions in a fast paced lean/agile environment
- Design robust software system architectures that align with multi-generational software framework and allows for future product expansion
- Work closely with systems, application, marketing, service, clinical teams and customers in requirements gathering and systems design
- Interact with global teams across GE Healthcare to maximize synergies across common software platform components
- Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across all phases of software development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Experience in C++ and object orientated design methodologies in a Windows environment
Desired Characteristics
- Medical device design and development experience desired
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements
- Embedded design and development experience desired
