Regional Sales Director - West

Hyperfine is a health technology company that developed the Swoop® portable, ultra-low-field MRI system to expand access to clinically relevant brain imaging. We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Director for California to own territory planning, build strategic relationships across clinical and administrative stakeholders, and drive capital sales into hospital settings (ICU, ED, OR) and other point-of-care locations.

Skills

  • Proven capital and medical device sales experience with quota achievement
  • Ability to sell clinical value to physicians and financial value to procurement/CFO
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and professional communication skills
  • Process-driven, organized, with disciplined CRM and KPI usage
  • Knowledge of clinical terminology, anatomy, and hospital workflows (ICU/ED/OR)
  • Comfort handling logistics for demonstrations and live events
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM, MS Office/G Suite, and web conferencing

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve quota and revenue growth
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder capital sales cycles with clinicians, procurement, IT, and executives
  • Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for customers throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Follow a disciplined sales and lead-generation process with weekly/monthly KPI tracking
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, conferences, and live events logistics
  • Partner with Inside Sales and cross-functional teams (product, marketing, clinical, customer success)
  • Utilize CRM (e.g., Salesforce) daily to report accounts, activities, and forecast
  • Provide required leadership reports (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Travel regionally and as needed outside region for events and customer meetings
  • Manage expenses and adhere to company travel/expense policies

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of medical device sales experience with capital sales exposure
