- Experience with PLM and MES systems and configuration/data management
- Familiarity with AS9100 processes and standards
- Hands-on fabrication, assembly, and testing of propulsion or fluid system components
- Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Calibration and certification of ground support equipment
- Ability to create clear work instructions and production documentation
- Manufacturability feedback and DFX collaboration with design teams
Responsibilities
- Set up and scale manufacturing capabilities for spacecraft propulsion and fluid systems across development and production programs
- Develop work instructions for assembly, integration, and test of propulsion and fluid subsystems, ground support equipment, and tooling
- Provide hands-on floor support to ensure efficient builds, troubleshoot issues, and remove production bottlenecks
- Generate and resolve non-conformance reports, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee calibration and certification of fluid ground support equipment
- Drive continuous process improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with design engineering to provide manufacturability feedback and develop technical documentation, drawings, process flows, and test specifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, chemical engineering, or related technical discipline
