Responsibilities
- Develop detailed, executable test plans for ground and range-based flight tests including configurations, success criteria, instrumentation, and data collection requirements
- Lead integrated test readiness activities and ensure all pre-test actions and safety requirements are closed prior to execution
- Serve as primary execution lead during test events, directing real-time activities and enforcing procedures and safety protocols
- Coordinate across propulsion, avionics, GNC, structures, ground systems, safety, and range operations to align vehicle and infrastructure readiness
- Provide structured inputs to go/no-go decisions and lead initial anomaly response and triage during test events
- Ensure integrity and completeness of collected test data and lead initial post-test assessments and lessons learned
- Maintain and drive integrated test execution schedules, identify execution risks, and implement cross-team mitigations
- Provide regular status updates and escalate critical risks to the Ground Test Director and program leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field required
- Advanced degree (M.S. or higher) in a relevant discipline preferred
