About the Role

Nobody understands revenue better than the accountants and auditors who have lived inside the spreadsheet chaos we’re automating. If that’s you — and you’re ready to apply your ASC 606 learnings to an entirely new environment — we want to meet you.

This is a placeholder requisition for exceptional finance and accounting professionals who want to move into a tech operator role at the intersection of finance, product, and AI. Depending on your strengths and interests, you could land in any of the roles across Tabs where accounting expertise is a real unlock — solutions consulting, implementation, customer success, partnerships, enablement, or product. We’ll scope the role to you.

What You’d Do

  • Translate between customers’ finance teams and our product — you speak ASC 606 fluently and can turn accounting edge cases into clear product requirements

  • Lead complex customer implementations, designing workflows that reflect how revenue actually moves in modern B2B businesses

  • Build the playbooks, enablement, and content that help new customers (and new teammates) ramp quickly

  • Surface patterns from the field back to Product — what’s breaking in close today that shouldn’t be a problem tomorrow

  • Be the in-house expert on what “good” looks like for a modern finance org — and help us make it the default

Who You Are

  • 2–10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance; open to Staff through Senior Manager based on fit

  • CPA (or equivalent) is a bonus, not a requirement; time in Big 4 audit, a controller seat, or a high-growth startup finance org all count

  • Strong grasp of revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounts receivable, and the contract-to-cash lifecycle

  • Genuinely excited about software, AI, and building — not just using — the tools finance teams rely on

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • You want to be in the rooms where the product gets built, not just where it gets used

  • Bonus: genuine interest in working directly with clients — several of these paths put you shoulder-to-shoulder with customer finance teams

Additional Information

This is a placeholder requisition for opportunistic hiring. We don’t have a specific opening mapped to this role today — but if you’re a strong fit, we’ll build a role around you. Exact title, scope, and seniority will be calibrated to your background.

This role is based in New York City, 5 days a week at our Soho office. Tabs is a high-execution, fully in-person team.
