- RF/microwave circuit and RFIC engineering experience
- Multi-chip module (MCM) substrate and packaging knowledge
- EM and circuit simulation (ADS, HFSS, AWR or similar)
- Hands-on lab experience with VNA, spectrum analyzers, VSG/VSA and RF test equipment
- Experience with BAW/SAW filters and RF passive design
- Python or MATLAB for modeling and test automation
- Productionization experience including supplier coordination and ATE test development
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF front-end multi-chip modules (MCMs) for 5G NR, LTE, and Wi‑Fi
- Integrate RFICs, PMICs, BAW/SAW filters, printed passives and SMDs into compact module laminates
- Specify RFIC and filter performance, pin-to-pin lineups, linearity, and coupling requirements
- Perform circuit and EM simulations and co-simulate full modules with sub-components
- Lead lab bring-up, characterization, prototype debugging, and iterate designs
- Manage laminate and assembly suppliers and coordinate OSAT production activities
- Develop ATE test plans and support integration of modules into production PCBAs
- Perform yield analysis and implement design improvements for high-volume production
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (required)
- Master's degree or PhD in RF/microwave engineering or related field (preferred)
