Responsibilities
- Define and align testing processes and strategies for product releases
- Own functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing for each release cycle
- Maintain and enhance the automated test framework and augment automated test cases after releases
- Perform release analysis for testability, coverage and completion criteria
- Execute and analyze test results and provide actionable feedback for quality improvements
- Perform defect trend analysis and report risks, lessons learned and mitigation recommendations
- Provide QA estimates and capacity planning for releases
- Act as gatekeeper and sign off on releases ready for production or internal/client testing
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive a feedback loop and enforce best development practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years relevant experience OR
- Master's (or higher) plus 4 years relevant experience OR
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
