Skills
- Integrated systems test and verification/validation experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting of complex electrical and embedded software systems
- Scripting for data acquisition and analysis (Python, MATLAB)
- Test infrastructure and automation development
- Knowledge of vehicle networks and communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, UART, SPI)
Responsibilities
- Serve as responsible engineer for avionics system-level integration, design validation, test, and operations
- Coordinate and execute test plans to validate avionics subsystems including power, fault isolation, network behavior, and software
- Develop vehicle-level CONOPs, go/no-go criteria, automation, and operator manuals
- Design and support avionics integrated system testbeds and hardware-in-the-loop setups
- Perform on-console test operations, data acquisition, and post-test data review during stage-level testing and launches
- Collaborate with avionics design, software, and operations teams to troubleshoot and close issues discovered during testing
Education
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
