Skills
- Experience leading production teams in aerospace, electronics, or high-reliability manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with PCBA rework and SMT production processes
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and shop floor software (ERP/MRP/MES) or dashboards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and execution-focused skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage and support avionics PCBA rework technicians and the SMT line, including training and certification
- Drive daily production execution, ensuring schedule adherence and quality targets are met
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production Control, and Logistics to ensure material readiness and resolve issues
- Design and implement tooling, floor layouts, and capital equipment to improve efficiency and ergonomics
- Establish, monitor, and report key production metrics (throughput, cycle time, first-pass yield)
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on the production floor
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Training or certification experience for technician upskilling and quality standards
