Account Manager

OnBoard is the leading board management software provider serving thousands of organizations globally. We are seeking an Account Executive to own and drive the full sales cycle within SMB and mid-market segments, targeting C-suite and board-level decision makers in regulated verticals (insurance, biotech, pharma, higher education, healthcare). The role requires consultative selling, strong pipeline management, and collaboration with customer success, product, and marketing teams.

Skills

  • Proven full-cycle software/SaaS sales and quota attainment
  • Consultative selling to C-suite and executive stakeholders
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (remote and in-person)
  • Pipeline management and accurate forecasting
  • Prospecting and lead conversion skills
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and maintaining clean data hygiene
  • Proficient with MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and lead follow-up
  • Manage prospects through the full sales cycle from lead to close for SMB & mid-market segments
  • Present product demonstrations in-person or remotely (phone/Zoom) to executive-level stakeholders
  • Maintain and actively manage a sales pipeline using consultative selling to influence economic buyers
  • Maintain frequent customer contact to understand needs and ensure long-term retention
  • Diligently log activity, maintain CRM hygiene, and provide accurate forecasting
  • Partner with Customer Success for smooth onboarding and long-term customer adoption
  • Engage with Product and Marketing to provide customer-driven feedback and validate strategy

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Equivalent relevant work experience accepted
