Skills
- Proficiency in Civil 3D for drafting and producing construction documents
- 2+ years of related civil engineering design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification required or ability to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
- Competence with Microsoft Office and project documentation
Responsibilities
- Produce civil design and detailed drawings using Civil 3D (site grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway interfaces)
- Prepare project schedules, assist with planning tasks, and support project deliverables
- Perform research and develop technical reports, calculations, and specifications
- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients to resolve design issues
- Assist with permitting, utility coordination, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in QA/QC reviews and maintain design standards
- Support construction administration as needed (review submittals, respond to RFI)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certificate required or ability to obtain
