Skills
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python for compiler and tooling development.
- Experience ingesting models from ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow/JAX, or ONNX.
- Practical knowledge of compiler front-end concepts: parsing, validation, and IR lowering.
- Familiarity with model-level optimization techniques such as quantization and sparsity.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and produce clear technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the compiler front end: parsing, validation, and IR lowering stages.
- Build and extend ingestion pipelines for PyTorch, StableHLO, ONNX, and MLIR-based dialects.
- Define and evolve interfaces between external model representations and the internal compiler IR.
- Ensure operator correctness and coverage across supported frameworks and hardware targets.
- Collaborate with graph optimization and code generation teams to produce clean, transformation-ready IR.
- Use performance and correctness data to identify coverage gaps and drive improvements.
- Write documentation and tooling to help ML engineers understand and debug the ingestion process.
Education
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (required).
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
