Skills
- Proven penetration testing and vulnerability assessment experience
- Experience managing Responsible Disclosure and Bug Bounty programs
- Proficiency with pentest tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, and Burp Suite
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web application security
- Ability to triage, reproduce, and clearly communicate vulnerability findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration tests and simulated cyberattacks against applications, networks, and systems to identify vulnerabilities.
- Manage responsible disclosure and bug bounty programs, including researcher outreach and communication.
- Receive, triage, and validate vulnerability reports submitted via email, web forms, or bug bounty platforms.
- Collaborate with development, IT operations, product, and security teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk.
- Track remediation progress and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
- Maintain relationships with the security research community and promote responsible disclosure participation.
- Document findings, produce remediation guidance, and contribute to security policy and process improvements.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH) preferred
