Vehicle Test Engineer - ADAS Vision Systems (Cameras, Radars, LiDars)

- Hands-on vehicle testing for ADAS validation (LKAS, ACC)
- Experience with Vector CAN tools and data acquisition systems
- Understanding of ECU controls, calibration and SW logic/behavior
- Vehicle instrumentation and mechanical wrenching experience
- Proving-grounds and test-track driving experience
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting (electrical, harness, software)
- Proficient in MS Office and engineering tools (e.g., DOORS)
- Strong written and verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Execute established test plans and procedures to validate ADAS functions (LKAS, ACC, etc.) on prototype vehicles
- Perform objective and subjective on-road and test-track driving to evaluate vision systems
- Instrument vehicles and configure data acquisition systems for tests
- Collect, analyze, and report test data; perform vehicle benchmarking and target setting
- Support ECU calibration validation and vehicle tuning efforts
- Coordinate with design, CAE, and suppliers to report results and develop corrective actions
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and harness issues; apply diagnostics to resolve problems
- Promote process improvements and evaluate new technologies to increase testing efficiency
- Travel to client sites and test facilities as required
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive preferred)
- Relevant hands-on testing coursework or certifications are a plus
