Social Content Specialist

GHOST is disrupting the sports nutrition industry by creating a lifestyle movement that includes transparent innovative products, immersive content, global distribution, key influencer partnerships and collaborations with the world's leading flavor brands. We are always challenging ourselves to think outside the box and serve our fans and customers better, and we're excited to find a new fam member to bring processes and fresh ideas to the table.

We're looking for a Social Content Specialist to join our Chicago-based content team. You'll work alongside our content and socials teams to plan, shoot, and edit a wide range of content. From highly engaging natively shot TikToks to BTS coverage of large campaign shoots, you will work to create a range of content across key platforms that resonate with fans. We are looking for an expert in content - with a deep understanding of platforms and what kind of content audiences expect on each. You enjoy the creative process, have a pulse on what works for TikTok vs. Instagram vs. YouTube, and can move at the speed of culture.

The Deets:

  • Work in collaboration with our content team to create social content around the GHOST brand.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on video concepts; brainstorm ideas with company leadership, marketing, and creative teams.
  • Deliver excellent selects in framing, and have an innate aptitude for lighting, layout, color, styling, and positioning that aligns with the brand and message.
  • Research and stay on top of the current trends within social content and ensure application of new trends as appropriate for the brand.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in social content creation. Work samples or portfolio required.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or similar field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working within a company and the ability to thrive in a structured setting.
  • Proficient in shooting and editing content, with a strong skill set in visual content creation.
  • Strong pulse on current industry trends, content styles, and ways to engage an audience through GHOST social channels.
  • Ability to work independently and perform as a on-person team when necessary.
  • Comfortable shooting on iPhone. Professional camera experience a plus.
  • Proficient working in CapCut and Adobe Acrobat Creative Cloud.
  • Well versed in fitness culture and nutritional supplements preferred.
  • Experience working with talent, athletes, and models.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with strong skills in organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
  • Takes feedback to execute changes and make improvements.
  • Communicative, trustworthy, and able to meet and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Travel to be expected 1-2 times per month.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
