The Vice President of Safety is responsible for leading and overseeing all safety initiatives, programs, and personnel across Enterprise Electrical’s multi-state operations. This executive-level role ensures the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a world-class safety culture that aligns with the company’s core values and operational goals.
This individual will provide strategic direction, leadership, and accountability for all safety personnel, policies, and compliance efforts. The Vice President of Safety will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, and field teams to drive proactive safety practices, reduce risk, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Provide executive leadership and oversight of all safety personnel, including regional safety managers and field safety representatives
· Develop and execute the company’s overall safety strategy, vision, and long-term initiatives
· Establish, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety policies, procedures, and programs
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA and industry standards
· Lead incident prevention strategies, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
· Monitor and analyze safety metrics, trends, and KPIs; provide regular reporting to executive leadership
· Partner with operations leadership to integrate safety into all phases of project planning and execution
· Drive a proactive safety culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
· Oversee safety training programs, certifications, and ongoing employee development initiatives
· Conduct regular site visits, audits, and safety reviews across all regions and projects
· Ensure consistent safety standards across all offices, job sites, and traveling teams
· Lead crisis management and response efforts related to safety incidents
· Collaborate with HR on workers’ compensation, return-to-work programs, and risk mitigation strategies
· Manage departmental budget, resources, and strategic investments in safety programs and technology
· Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on all safety-related matters
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Education and Certification Requirements:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field
Certifications/Licenses:
· OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 preferred
· CSP, CHST, or equivalent safety certification strongly preferred
Experience Requirements:
· 10 to 15+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in construction, electrical, or related industry
· Proven experience leading multi-state safety programs and managing safety teams
· Demonstrated success in building and sustaining a strong safety culture at scale
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Deep understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
· Strong leadership, communication, and executive presence
· Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership and field operations
· Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing safety metrics and trends
· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
· Ability to travel regularly to support job sites and regional operations
· High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety excellence
Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to walk active construction job sites, climb stairs, and navigate various environments
· Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
· Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
Work Environment:
· Combination of office and field environments
· Frequent travel required to job sites and regional offices
· May require occasional evening or weekend work based on project or operational needs
