Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of 7+ quality engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and career development
- Coordinate with product scrum teams to manage backlogs, sprints, and timely deliveries in a lean agile environment
- Define and drive QE strategy, test plans, and release management across distributed systems
- Implement and maintain scalable test automation (UI and API) and CI/CD integration
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, PMs, BizOps, Architecture, and Platform to ensure feature quality and delivery
- Plan, triage, and track team work using JIRA; ensure visibility into quality metrics and release readiness
- Participate in hiring and interview processes to grow the team
- Tackle cross-functional tasks and support complex projects outside core specialization when needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or extensive equivalent experience
- Demonstrable professional experience in quality engineering and leadership
