Skills
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; familiarity with AWS/Azure).
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and continuous delivery tooling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Ansible) and shell scripting basics.
- Strong YAML competency.
- Experience with security automation and understanding of API, container, and cloud security.
- Comfort debugging systems, reading and writing code, and using monitoring/observability tools.
- Experience working in Agile teams remotely and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate runtime production environments (Kubernetes, containers, cloud services).
- Act as the bridge between application teams and the platform; advocate best practices and enable application delivery.
- Validate solutions and implementations against requirements and business needs.
- Independently troubleshoot and solve medium-level technical issues; develop small components or automation to address problems.
- Estimate time and effort for medium-sized tasks and contribute to project planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile, remote environment.
- Contribute to security automation and ensure platform compliance with architecture and ATO requirements.
- Support monitoring, performance instrumentation, and operational debugging.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Relevant military technical training, certifications, or vocational education acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
