Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a squad of software engineers with regular feedback, career conversations, and onboarding support
- Define and deliver roadmap priorities in partnership with product, design, data, security, and GTM stakeholders
- Drive technical execution for distributed services and API design while balancing trade-offs and reliability at scale
- Run agile ceremonies, plan sprints, and continuously improve delivery processes and team execution
- Hire and grow engineering talent for new and existing teams
- Participate in on-call rotation and ensure timely responses to production incidents
- Identify future technical needs and create plans for scaling, observability, and maintainability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Continued learning mindset; formal advanced degree optional
