Skills
- 12+ years in software engineering across SaaS, infrastructure, and AI systems
- 6+ years of hands-on engineering leadership managing multi-team orgs
- Deep experience with AI/ML systems, especially computer vision
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
- Hands-on MLOps and ML pipeline experience
- Cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for the PowerAI product
- Design and scale distributed backend services, AI/ML pipelines, and computer vision systems
- Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD, and MLOps standards across teams
- Directly manage and mentor team leads across Computer Vision & AI, MLOps/infrastructure, and platform engineering
- Build and maintain a high-performance engineering culture focused on quality and delivery
- Partner with Product, Solutions, and executives to set roadmaps and priorities
- Ensure reliable, high-quality, on-time solutions for customers
- Participate in strategic company discussions and influence product/technology direction
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (typical)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant field preferred but not required
