- Experience integrating medical imaging systems (DICOM) or similar
- Knowledge of PHI/PII handling and HIPAA-compliant practices
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring best practices
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain full-stack features and services for cloud platforms used in medical and life-science projects
- Architect and provision infrastructure using AWS and Terraform to support scalable, secure platforms
- Integrate with medical imaging systems and device protocols (e.g., DICOM) and third-party APIs
- Ensure handling of PHI/PII meets HIPAA and security/compliance requirements
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and observability
- Perform code reviews, drive best practices, and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product, and clinical/regulated-domain SMEs
- Document architecture, decisions, and integration patterns for regulated systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Relevant industry certifications desirable (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
