Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation for internal and external reviews
- Manage state licensure applications, renewals, and reporting requirements
- Conduct routine compliance audits and organize documentation for legal review
- Research regulatory changes and monitor state licensure legislation and industry trends
- Collaborate with attorneys, business leaders, external counsel, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and produce audit reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements and policy interpretation
- Maintain and update compliance records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel with compliance projects and process improvements
- Travel as needed (approximately 10%–20%) for regulatory meetings or audits
Education
- Bachelor's degree in legal studies, compliance, business, or related field preferred
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent preferred
- Ongoing compliance training or certifications are a plus
