Skills
- 3+ years programming experience (Python, JavaScript, Java or similar)
- 2+ years developing automated tests and technical test documentation
- Experience with test frameworks such as PyTest, JUnit, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience designing and executing integration and API-level tests
- Proficiency with network request interception (Playwright route, Cypress intercept)
- Manual testing experience for validating user stories and features
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mentality
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Own and manage development-level testing processes and outcomes across the platform
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for APIs, microservices, and UIs
- Develop and execute integration, functional, and regression test suites for distributed systems
- Build and maintain automated API tests for RESTful services and service integrations
- Design and execute network-emulation test suites (latency, packet loss, offline scenarios)
- Create automated validations for client-side persistence and unsynced data resiliency
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for repeatable deployments
- Participate in manual testing to validate user stories and feature behavior
- Investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot defects with engineering teams
- Document test cases, validation strategies, and maintain clear testing documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve test strategy and coverage
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
