Responsibilities
- Monitor daily system health and verify performance metrics across servers, network, and security platforms
- Perform proactive security assessments, intrusion detection monitoring, and apply mitigation steps
- Implement and manage backup strategies, data retention, and recovery procedures
- Deploy system updates, patches, and configuration changes for servers and network devices
- Manage user lifecycle, access controls, and Active Directory administration
- Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and hardware maintenance
- Respond rapidly to incidents, troubleshoot complex outages, and coordinate recovery
- Support and maintain specialized access control and video management systems
Education
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant systems experience OR
- Associate degree with 5+ years specialized experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and practical experience
- Certifications in security hardware platforms and video management systems required
