Principal (Cleveland) SY 26-27

Constellation Schools (operated by ACCEL Schools) is seeking a highly qualified Principal to lead a Cleveland campus for the 2026–2027 school year. The Principal will serve as the campus instructional and administrative leader, responsible for driving academic vision, leading teacher development and evaluation, managing daily operations and compliance, and ensuring positive outcomes for a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

  • Lead school-wide instructional strategy, curriculum implementation, and assessment-driven instruction
  • Coach, evaluate, and develop teachers using formal observations, walkthroughs, and weekly feedback
  • Design and deliver regular professional development and teacher collaboration structures
  • Oversee Special Education program and ensure high achievement for program participants
  • Implement and sustain school culture systems (PBIS) and behavior management practices
  • Manage daily school operations including facilities, food services, data systems, and safety
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and charter-sponsor reporting and accountability
  • Lead student recruitment and retention efforts to meet annual enrollment goals
  • Engage families and community partners; act as the primary community-facing school leader
  • Collaborate with Home Office/Operations and HR on budgeting, staffing, and performance management

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related discipline (required)
  • Advanced degree in Education or Educational Leadership (strongly preferred)
  • Current valid Principal and Teacher license (required)
  • Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
