Application Engineer
Skills
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph (most recent poly within 7 years)
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript proficiency
- Extensive experience with Angular (v14 or higher) for building SPAs
- Experience analyzing and consuming JSON from RESTful APIs
- Solid CSS skills for UI styling and responsive layouts
- UI technical leadership and ability to provide design mockups
- Familiarity with testing, deployment, and sustainment of web applications
- Ability to work in an IC environment and follow security/authorization processes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain Angular-based single-page applications and dashboards
- Integrate front-end components with REST endpoints and consume/transform JSON payloads
- Create UI mockups and prototypes to guide new feature development and design decisions
- Drive automation and streamlined processes for system security evaluation and continuous monitoring
- Lead UI technical efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, DevOps, security, product)
- Improve look-and-feel using CSS and responsive design best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure reliable production delivery
- Document designs, APIs, and user flows; maintain Confluence/Jira artifacts where applicable
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (required with 9+ years’ related experience) or
- Master's degree in a related field (required with 6+ years’ related experience)
