- Test & evaluation, test plan development, and data analysis
- Ability to produce high-level technical briefings and interact with customers
Responsibilities
- Lead RF hardware system development from requirements through delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into hardware designs
- Design, specify, and select RF components (active/passive devices, antennas, connectors, cabling, enclosures)
- Perform RF analyses (e.g., link budgets, system-level performance trade studies)
- Develop PCB, analog, and mixed-signal designs and support assembly and integration
- Define test plans, support test execution, analyze results, and iterate designs
- Support system checkout, initial operation, and fielding activities
- Prepare and present technical briefings and reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TIMS)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain security clearance
