Senior SEO Data Analyst
Skills
- Intermediate SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Data visualization and dashboarding (Tableau or similar)
- Experience with GA4 and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, BrightLocal) and local search concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to translate data into clear narratives for stakeholders
- Experience working with large datasets and creating benchmarks
- Basic scripting/automation experience (Python or similar) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Analyze SEO performance across a large, diverse portfolio to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Own and evolve portfolio-level SEO reporting, dashboards, and scorecards
- Build and maintain benchmarking frameworks to compare performance across verticals
- Define and standardize SEO KPIs to ensure consistency across teams
- Evaluate effectiveness of SEO strategies and product capabilities and identify drivers of outcomes
- Conduct post-launch analyses for product and strategy updates affecting SEO
- Support measurement development for emerging areas such as AI-driven and entity-based search
- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering to improve data quality and expand meaningful SEO signals
- Translate complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactively surface insights that influence product direction and business strategy
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Communications, or related field
- STEM degree is a plus
