Staff Business Systems Analyst, Finance

Oura builds wearable-driven health insights and is hiring a senior individual contributor to own and optimize core Finance systems, primarily NetSuite ERP. The role partners with Finance, Accounting, Revenue, Procurement and IT to drive system strategy, deliver integrations and automations, ensure ASC 606 and SOX compliance, and improve end-to-end processes across Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.

Skills

  • Deep NetSuite ERP product and module expertise (OM, ARM, Billing, GL, AR, AP, Intercompany)
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and multi-book/multi-entity finance processes
  • Experience with integrations/APIs, ETL/data governance, and maintaining data integrity across systems
  • Proven ability to author Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, reports, and PDF forms
  • Experience with Agile delivery, backlog management, SIT/UAT, and release coordination
  • SOX and audit controls experience for finance systems

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute finance technology roadmap across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payments, and T&E.
  • Serve as NetSuite subject matter expert: configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting across OM, Billing, Revenue, GL, AR, AP, Inventory, and COGS.
  • Elicit, document, and translate business and functional requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
  • Optimize and automate financial workflows (QTC, P2P, R2R) including billing, invoicing, collections, vendor management, and month-end close.
  • Manage backlog, support SIT/UAT testing, and coordinate deployments with analysts, engineers, and delivery leads.
  • Ensure SOX controls, access management, audit evidence, and change management compliance.
  • Oversee integrations and data integrity between NetSuite and ancillary systems (CPQ, Zip, Zuora, Pigment, Data Lake).
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts and manage vendor/implementation partner relationships.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant professional certifications or NetSuite training a plus
