POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Writer position is in the Logistics & Storage Engineering (L&SE) Governing Documents team. This position provides technical documentation expertise for document owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and end users to maintain compliance with government regulations, industry codes, and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates and facilitates the development, revision, and review of technical and governing documents to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Leverages technical writing expertise to support Business Partners in producing clear, user-friendly, compliant documents.
  • Provides regular updates on document statuses and communicates progress to assigned Business Partners.
  • Uses the document management system to manage document workflows and guides Business Partners through document management processes.
  • Ensures the accuracy of governing document metadata within the document management system (DMS).
  • Adheres to established style guide and template to guarantee document quality and consistency.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities and provides recommendations for process improvements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years or more of experience required. ​
