Hexcel is currently seeking an Engineering Co-Op for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Create and develop processes and tools to assist in the fabrication of composite honeycomb details, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
Coordinate tooling fabrication to Hexcel standards with both internal and external suppliers.
Active member of continuous improvement team to meet the plant’s production and quality goals.
Demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work and communicate with co-workers, supervisors and subordinates and/or outside contacts and customers.
Perform problem solving and data gathering activities supporting DCR/MRR (Document Change Request/Material Rejection Report) resolution.
Qualifications:
Field of study: mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related fields.
Previous experience in fast-paced, competitive engineering and manufacturing environment a plus.
Solid verbal and written communication skills are required, PC and AutoCAD skills preferred.
Candidate must have ability to define problems and interpret a variety of technical instructions.
Must have solid organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
