Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Hillsborough, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour
Salary: $70,000–$80,000/year DOE + Full Benefits

Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant will support the delivery of outpatient rehabilitation services by carrying out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional performance through guided therapeutic interventions. The PTA will work directly with patients during scheduled treatment sessions, monitor performance and response to care, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans under PT supervision
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises
  • Monitor and report patient progress
  • Complete accurate documentation
  • Maintain treatment areas and equipment
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Active New Jersey PTA license
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • PTO
