Responsibilities
- Own architecture, development, and production operation of scalable, secure cloud services with accountability for performance and reliability.
- Drive technical design and architectural decisions for distributed systems and platform evolution.
- Lead complex initiatives end-to-end from design through deployment, optimization, and production support.
- Build and scale infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Embed cloud security and compliance practices, including IAM, encryption, and secure design patterns.
- Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices for operational excellence.
- Advance DevOps maturity by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define solutions and resolve system-level challenges.
- Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical direction, and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate and adopt pragmatic technologies to improve performance, scalability, and developer productivity.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- U.S. work authorization required (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
