New Construction Commercial Sales Representative-Selling to General Contractors

DH Pace is a family-owned, privately held national leader in commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. The company is hiring a New Construction Commercial Sales Representative to grow new-construction relationships with general contractors in Denver and surrounding areas, selling sectional and rolling doors, loading dock equipment, and high-speed doors while producing estimates, proposals, and maintaining CRM records.

Skills

  • Outside sales experience calling on general contractors or commercial construction markets
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/plans
  • Estimating and proposal preparation experience or aptitude to learn
  • Proficiency with Windows-based programs and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with technical applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with general contractors in Denver and surrounding areas
  • Meet decision makers to design and engineer door and dock solutions for customer facilities
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Manage sales process from initial contact through close, including follow-up and documentation
  • Record and update all leads, activities, and opportunities in the CRM daily
  • Achieve sales objectives and participate in regular sales meetings
  • Review blueprints/plans and coordinate technical details with internal teams
  • Travel locally to customer and job sites as required

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
