Staff Accountant
Skills
- Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable and procure-to-pay controls
- Experience with Coupa, NetSuite, and Concur (preferred)
- SOX compliance and external audit support experience
- Solid Excel skills and ability to present numeric data clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication and confidentiality handling
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Perform monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Process and code vendor invoices in Coupa and support invoice-to-PO matching
- Prepare and execute vendor payment batches and support vendor onboarding
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and process employee expense reimbursements in Concur
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities and prepare audit schedules
- Assist with SOX 404(b) internal control testing and documentation
- Prepare and file annual 1099 reports and support ad hoc accounting projects
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Active CPA or pursuit of CPA (preferred)
