- 7+ years building and scaling backend services and product-facing features
- Fluency with TypeScript and React (or similar) and a statically typed backend language such as Go
- Strong care for frontend polish and backend performance
- Proficiency designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases
- Ability to write testable, performant code and make pragmatic tradeoffs
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full‑stack product features using Go, TypeScript/React, and Ember where appropriate
- Collaborate with product and engineering to turn ideas into delivered customer value
- Evolve backend systems for scale, reliability, and performance
- Share knowledge through mentorship, writing, and short public progress videos
- Use AI agents to scope, implement, and verify multi‑file code changes
Education
- No specific degree required; equivalent hands-on experience is accepted
- Relevant CS degree or related technical education is a plus
