Head of Media

The Company

Bolt Farm Treehouse exists to help couples slow down, reconnect, and strengthen their relationship through intentional, deeply restorative experiences. We are building a distinct brand centered on renewal, reconnection, and emotional transformation — creating beautiful, private environments that help people step out of the noise of everyday life and return to what matters most. More than a place to visit, Bolt Farm is designed to create meaningful change in the lives and relationships of the people we serve.

This is an exciting time to join Bolt Farm. As we continue to elevate the experience and build the team shaping what comes next, we are looking for people who want to do meaningful work inside a distinctive, growing company. For the right person, this is a chance to help build something special — a brand with real momentum, a clear mission, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. This uses the approved Bolt Farm company description called for in the JD guide.

Your Team

The media team is a core part of how Bolt Farm is understood in the market. This team helps translate the brand into content people can feel — shaping how prospective guests encounter Bolt Farm through founder-led storytelling, property-led content, and creative that reinforces renewal, reconnection, and emotional transformation rather than generic hospitality messaging.

This is a meaningful leadership seat inside a brand with real creative traction and clear room to build. The opportunity is not just to keep content moving, but to create a stronger operating system behind it: better planning, better workflows, better quality control, and better alignment between creative output and qualified demand. The org reference also shows Bolt Media as an open leadership lane inside Brand Co, which reinforces that this is a build-and-lead opportunity rather than a narrow production seat.

Your Role

As Head of Media, you will own Bolt Farm’s media engine across founder-led and property-led content. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can turn creative instinct, brand standards, and performance signals into a repeatable system that ships consistently, protects the premium feel of the brand, and helps drive qualified demand for Bolt Farm stays.

You will set priorities, build workflows, and lead the people and partners needed to make Bolt Farm’s media function compound over time rather than depend on last-minute heroics. For the right person, this is a chance to step into a brand with real momentum and help shape how Bolt Farm is experienced in the market through content that feels premium, emotionally resonant, and operationally strong. This framing follows the JD guide’s instruction that the role section should focus on purpose, impact, and why now is a strong time to join.

Responsibilities

  • Own Bolt Farm’s media function across relevant platforms, with accountability for shipping cadence, creative quality, audience quality, and contribution to qualified demand

  • Build and run the operating system for media, including planning, briefing, production workflow, review cycles, publishing cadence, asset organization, and performance feedback loops

  • Launch and own production of the BOLT podcast

  • Translate founder vision and brand direction into clear creative plans that preserve voice, emotion, and premium positioning

  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable internal and external creative resources, including editors, freelancers, agency partners, and future hires

  • Identify winning formats, scale what works, and stop what does not using performance signals tied to business outcomes rather than vanity metrics alone

  • Ensure content ships quickly and at a high standard without unnecessary operational drag

  • Partner with adjacent teams to keep organic media aligned with launches, brand priorities, and guest demand

  • Build dashboards and performance visibility so media decisions improve over time through real data, not guesswork

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in organic media, social content, brand content, creative production, or closely related digital media work

  • 2+ years of leadership experience with direct accountability for creative output, standards, deadlines, and results across internal teams, agency partners, freelancers, or a combination of the three

  • Experience owning organic content strategy and execution for a premium consumer brand, founder-led brand, hospitality or lifestyle brand, or another high-consideration category

  • Experience building and running recurring content systems across planning, briefing, production, publishing, remixing, and performance review

  • Experience using performance metrics to make channel, format, and content decisions tied to business outcomes

  • Experience working closely with a founder or senior visionary leader with a high bar and fast pace

  • Experience using AI tools to improve creative operations, research, editing, or content workflows

  • Must live within driving distance of Whitwell, Tennessee

Nice to Have

  • Experience growing a brand audience to 3M+ followers

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, travel, wellness, or another emotionally driven premium brand

  • Experience building a media team from the ground up

  • Experience developing longer-form storytelling, episodic content, or premium brand series
