Snowflake Lead: Architect and Developer

Attain Partners is a mission-driven consulting firm working across education, nonprofit, healthcare, and government to deliver strategy and technology solutions. They are seeking a Snowflake Architect to define and lead enterprise Snowflake data platform architecture, ensure scalability and governance, and enable AI-ready data ecosystems across ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.

Skills

  • 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics platforms
  • Deep, hands-on Snowflake architecture experience
  • Strong SQL and performance tuning expertise
  • Experienced designing ELT pipelines, real-time/event-driven architectures
  • Understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse patterns, dimensional modeling, and Data Vault
  • Experience integrating with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of security models including RBAC, row-level security, and data masking

Responsibilities

  • Define and own enterprise Snowflake architecture and overall data platform strategy
  • Design scalable enterprise, domain, and semantic data models
  • Architect data ingestion (batch, real-time, streaming) and ELT transformation patterns
  • Design data serving layers for analytics, AI/ML, and APIs
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, RBAC, masking, and access controls
  • Define integration patterns with iPaaS tools and cloud platforms
  • Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and workload management
  • Advise on CI/CD, DevOps, and automation best practices
  • Lead stakeholder discussions and translate business needs into technical designs
  • Support business development, proposal creation, and solution design activities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree in a related field preferred but not required
