Staff Weapons Integration Engineer
Skills
- Extensive experience integrating weapons, payloads, or avionics onto aircraft
- Familiarity with Air-to-Air/Air-to-Ground weapons, MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-1760, and ICDs
- Experience with weapon or tactical datalinks and system-level analysis
- Test planning and execution experience including lab, ground, and flight tests
- Ability to develop program plans, schedules, and technical documentation
- Supplier management and hardware procurement experience
- Customer-facing skills and experience resolving technical issues
- Ability to obtain and hold U.S. Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead and support integration, verification, and validation of weapons systems onto Anduril and third-party platforms
- Develop program plans, cost/time estimates, and schedules
- Create system/architecture designs, perform system-level analysis, and author requirements
- Produce and maintain Interface Control Documents, Software Requirement Specifications, and Performance Specifications
- Plan, support, and lead lab, ground, and flight test events and review test plans/procedures
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
- Adjudicate conflicting requirements and identify/drive risk mitigation to closure
- Manage supplier relationships for hardware development and procurement
- Prepare technical material and present at design reviews, regulatory briefings, and customer meetings
- Support operations of deployed weapons systems and contribute to proposals/white papers
Education
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
